History
All of the tube Hi-Fi enthusiasts know this historical brand with which Amperex, founded in the '20s in USA and bought from dutsch Philips around mid '50s, characterized a series of very high quality tubes and reliability, so that many of them were used by giants like Tektronix and Hewlett-Packard.
Amperex created at the same time a brand, Bugle Boy®, with which started to sell a line of tubes especially made for audio, like 12AX7, EL34, EL84, 6DJ8, GZ34 etc.
The original Bugle Boy® tubes are still sought after by enthusiasts all over the world, reaching always very high prices on marketplaces like eBay or Amazon.
Nowadays with Bugle Boy®, unlike what have done by New Sensor with his other historical brands Gold Lion, Tung-sol and Mullard, we offer, as long as we can find it, the best left by vintage productions, still with unbeatable quality, so we test and select new and used tubes, both european, like Mullard (the genuine ones...), Philips, GEC, Osram, Telefunken, Fivre etc., russian like Reflector, Voskhod, SED "Winged C" and USA made like RCA, General Electric, Sylvania, Westinghouse, Tung-sol (even these the real ones!) etc.
